The Municipal Cemetery in Opava

The Opava municipal cemetery was founded in 1890. Victims of the First World War are buried under a memorial by the famous Silesian sculptor Josef Obeth, as are more than 3,200 Red Army soldiers who fell towards the end of the Second World War and about 600 German soldiers. The grave of Austrian Field Marshall Eduard von Böhm-Ermolli is also worth seeing.
